I don’t think I’d seen these before today. I swear there are no bad promotional pictures for this film.

I love this scene so fucking much. Really there are very few scenes I don’t love but this one is particularly great for one so short. Here are some reasons why:
- I love how casual it is. Neither of them are particularly angsty about sex or see it as that big a deal so why should they now?
- Lisbeth actually makes breakfast, which considering she lives on pizza and fast food is a pretty big deal. It shows that she really does like him already.
- Her bedhead is flawless.
- Body language all round is completely flawless too.
- The way he comes in looking a bit sheepish as if he expects to have some big conversation about whether they’re suddenly in a relationship now as she’s younger than him. I think this tiny scene actually solidifies his respect for her for how little drama there is. He almost seems impressed.
- After these lines that’s it and I still managed to make a list out of it.

Her disdain at Mikael’s inability to deal with technology properly is something which always makes me laugh. You can see how much watching him do anything with a computer pains her.

So much love for this scene. Maybe when I get the time I’ll write another one of my epic text posts about it and bore you all with my opinions.

Dawwww. I am severely disappointed my DVD has literally no special features on it other than the commentary so I don’t get to see any behind the scenes stuff of these three. Gah.
-
It took me until about ten minutes before the end of the film to get a screencap of this. He was always moving too much or it was too dark. Anyway, it’s one of those small details which I became slightly fixated on while I was watching it. That probably wasn’t helped by the fact that I had the commentary on as well while I was doing it.

Rooney Mara’s reaction upon seeing Elodie Yung at the Paris premiere of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Why is this so cute to me? Then again everything she does is incredibly cute to me, even talking about grabbing guys by the throat.

I can’t even. How is she so cute?
Anywho, serious scene stuff. I like how Lisbeth comes into the second scene prepared to argue and persuade Mikael to part with his money and how readily he trusts her, even though she has done some things of questionable legality before. Part of me does want to start yelling GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN at her though knowing what’s coming. Damn you Larsson, just damn you.
-
Again with the heartache. They need each other more than they know. Plus I like the switch that Mikael is pretty much unable to protect himself properly and Lisbeth is the one who has to protect him even though she’s so much younger than him.
-
Continuing with the scenes which make my hurt heart knowing what’s coming.
The last one is one of those moments which made me grin my face off watching it. Lisbeth is going to get what she wants and ‘Harriet fucking Vanger’ will have to wait until afterwards :D.
