Frank Turner | Photosynthesis
Ah yes, the invisible llama song. It took me so long to work out that line was actually ‘so wrapped up in her invisible ARMOUR’. ENUNCIATE Frank, please :D.

Patrick Wolf - Damaris
Gypsy, stray
Bleak orphan
No one could say
The land you came from
But deep in my arms
You belonged
But nobody knows
No body knows
How I wait for you
Summer, Spring
Autumn, Winter
Here perishing
My god damned
Damaris
Killed with last kiss
God damned
Damaris
I loved you
Goddam these tears
And this religion
Thought I was more
Than just my father’s son
Who says in limbo
Be where you’ve gone
But nobody knows
Nobody knows
How I wait for you
Summer, Spring
Autumn, Winter
Here perishingI used to think this song was a bit dull but it’s grown on me and is now one of my favourites from The Bachelor. I think Oblivion is still my favourite overall though.

nine inch nails - head like a hole
Oddly enough we were talking about this song yesterday, as well as
eyes of a puppetDown In It, which I actually love as I find it slightly endearing how shit the lyrics are. Same goes for most of Pretty Hate Machine, especially on the angstier end, although there are some great songs on it, like this one.(via serenepristine)

Massive Attack - Angel
The Charlotte Martin version is quite good as well.
I miss Bristol. I can’t listen to Massive Attack without thinking of it and it doesn’t quite sound the same somehow here. In Bristol it just fits.

Dying
It’s morning here and I only got up about forty five minutes ago but I’m sure someone could do with this. Right now it’s quite tempting for me.

NIN | Leaving Hope
One of the most beautiful things Trent’s ever produced I think, even if it does leave me staring into space for a while after listening to it.

you can’t leaveSomewhere A Clock Is Ticking - Snow Patrol
I love this song. Oddly enough the first time I heard it was when it was used on Doctor Who Confidential, for I think the episode for Silence in the Library. Yet another thing I’m going to miss about that: their flawless music choices.

“As I Walked Out One Evening” by W.H. Auden

“You shall love your crooked neighbor/with your crooked heart”
the way he says China <3
One of my favourite poems ever written. It has to be read aloud I think. I usually end up mouthing it to myself as it’s not the same if you just read it in your head.
