Seth Lakeman - Garden of Grace (from The Punch Bowl)

I’ve been wandering around today with this stuck in my head, which makes a change from Rein Raus (going from Rammstein to Seth, sometimes I wonder what the hell my music taste actually says about me. Then I shrug and continue dancing around to German songs with oddly creative euphemisms for sex.) Anywho, this is one of my favourites from this album already. I’m choosing to see it as yet another folk song about sex, slightly covered up with religious imagery :D.

The backing vocals on this were done by Kathryn Roberts, who was in Equation with Seth and is Sean Lakeman’s partner. Their other brother Sam is married to Cara Dillon (who was also in Equation) so if Seth doesn’t marry a folk singer he’ll probably be disowned forever :).

I think I made it pretty clear and yet people still try to just order my ridiculously cheap earrings by themselves. The last person ordered two pairs so I just went with it and sent them but if I wasn’t so desperate for orders I would have just cancelled this one. Instead I’ve just pointed out that part of the listing and I’ll see what the person says.

If I make another load of earrings I’m definitely going to sell them for at least a couple of pounds by themselves as they seem to be the most searched for thing I have. I seriously underestimated how many people seem to be looking for cheap earrings just by themselves. I mostly put them up because I don’t have pierced ears and I wanted to get rid of them.

Sudden desire for tights like this, preferably not white though. Maybe I could make myself some if I get the chance.

Still unconvinced that this show can carry on without Nathan, but eh, worth a shot.

Living in hope that this won’t be terrible. As long as they don’t completely mess up the time travel thing I think it’ll be great.

He is one of the other reasons I want to see First Class. I’m really curious to see what he’s like as Hank McCoy because it doesn’t seem to compute in my brain somehow :).

Many many significant glances at the end of this episode. It made me feel slightly ominous though because there’s obviously some master plan at work somewhere. I wouldn’t be surprised if Herrick was involved somehow as he seems to love those kinds of machinations. It’s good to see Annie happy again though.
