Nothing but the dreams

I had a workshop this afternoon learning how to do monotype lithographs, which was pretty fun. Some of them were better than others (I think the first one is my favourite and it was actually the first one I did so clearly it’s all downhill from here :D) but that’s part of the fun of printing really, you never know if it’s actually going to come out alright or not. Yes that can be frustrating if you want something to be perfect but that’s never been my priority really. Plus even the ones that went wrong led to some interesting textures that I can working back over the top of later on.

I’ve still got black ink around my nails but I think that’s when I feel most content. I do love a good productive afternoon of printing.
