I almost forgot that I made some more of these paper beads last week. These ended up a bit wonkier than the first lot as I rushed the measuring of the triangle shapes a bit but they worked out alright in the end. Still not quite sure what to do with them but I’ll keep making them anyway.
Seriously, if anyone has any ideas for what I can do with these then let me know as I have no idea right now.

Theshamblehouse sent me this link ages ago (maybe something like a year ago thinking about it, wow I’m rubbish at remembering to do things) with instructions for how to make beads out of paper. I finally got around to trying it out yesterday and made these out of some old photocopies from uni work I had lying around. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, although some of them are a bit wonky. Now I need to work out what to do with them. I might possibly sell some of the ones I don’t like so much on Etsy in packs, although I’d have no idea what to charge for them. I’ll probably make some more tomorrow anyway.

Finally managed to write some Etsy listings after putting them off for most of the afternoon. Cue shameless self promotion. You can buy this stuff here. You don’t have to if you don’t want to of course. It just makes me happy when people do. Also money is always good.

I’ve been trying to get back into the habit of making things on a regular basis by making some necklaces. I don’t have many larger beads right now as I need to stock up on beading supplies but I’ve got plenty of seed beeds of different colours, hence the number of long multi strand necklaces I’ve made. It’s a good job I don’t get bored doing endless amounts of bead stringing.

Finally got around to updating my Etsy with a couple of things and renewed a couple of others. You don’t have to buy anything, just if you’d take a look that’d be nice. Here’s a link.
Thinking I might make a bit more jewellery tomorrow as well, even if it does seem like no one wants to buy any of it. It’ll give me something to do anyway.

Revised version of the thing I made. I spent a while faffing around with font sizes and colours and it still needs work but there are other things I should probably be spending my time on instead.

Reposting in the hope that more people will actually be awake and around now. My Etsy’s back online with new stuff. Feedback and/or ideas for stuff I could make next is greatly appreciated.

I finally got around to putting my Etsy back up again. I still need to redo the banner and edit some things but I wanted to get it back up first. I’m think of making some more jewellery sometime but I’m not entirely sure what, any requests?

I’ve been making these on and off over a few days. In typical fashion they’re all a bit wonky and there are a few others I need to sort out properly as they’ve got seriously wonky edges or the tension on the thread went a bit weird. Overall I’m happy with most of them. At the very least I won’t have loads of samples sitting around in boxes now. I just need to start writing up listings for Etsy for a few of them, which is my least favourite thing to do so it might take a while.

Just a quick reminder that my Etsy is a thing which still exists. I don’t have a huge amount up at the moment as my listings all ran out of time and I decided not to renew them. Hopefully once I’m settled back at home I’ll make some more jewellery and cushion covers and try to think of some other things I can make. I think I’m going to make some paper beads and I’m interested in trying to make some badges by covering buttons but otherwise I don’t have many ideas. Anyone have any ideas? I’ll need things to do to keep me from getting cabin fever anyway so I might as well try to make some money out of it.
